MICHAEL COPPOLA FBI couldn’t woo him.

A Genovese capo who went on the lam for 11 years to dodge murder and racketeering charges came this close to singing for the feds once the law caught up with him, an FBI agent testified.

Michael “Mikey Cigars” Coppola, 63, set to go on trial next week, secretly spent a weekend meeting with agents and consulting lawyers as he weighed whether to become a turncoat in March 2007.

“We wanted him to cooperate with us. He could actively make phone calls for us. There were lots of things he could do,” FBI Agent Kevin Brown testified at a recent hearing in Brooklyn federal court.

Ultimately, Coppola chose to roll the dice with a jury and face trial on racketeering charges, including the 1977 slaying of fellow wiseguy John “Johnny Cokes” Lardiere and extortion of the International Longshoremen’s Association.

During his years on the run, Coppola split his time between San Francisco and an apartment on the Upper West Side, where the feds nabbed him.

Jury selection starts Monday.      NY Post

Most everyone has a price, but in his case I sincerely believe he’s more afraid of getting wacked in the big house, or having some of his family wacked in the outside as well!

Okay, you’re not a stoolie, but you are still an IDIOT and a worthless, dirtbag criminal.
I love how these evil thugs think they are being honorable by not co-operating with the authorities. It’s like the murderers in jail who look down on the child molesters. Criminals are so stupid
