Maurizio Motta Sicilian Mafia

Catania, 5 May (AKI) – Police in the southern Italian city of Catania on Wednesday arrested fugitive mafia suspect Maurizio Motta, alleged to be a boss of the Sicilian Mazzei crime family. Motta was apprehended by police as he was boarding a flight to northern Italy using a fake ID.

Investigators believe Motta directed the Mazzei clan after his brother was killed.

Bosti Jnr is accused of ordering the murder of 17-year-old Ciro Fontanarosa on 24 April 2009 after he refused to join the Bosti clan.
