THE Daniel crime clan are notorious for their bloody turf war with the rival Lyons family.
Jamie Daniel’s ruthless mob fell out with the gang led by Eddie Lyons over a drug deal – spawning a bitter feud which sparked a string of shootings.
Despite such distractions, Jamie Daniel is thought to be worth £10million after building a powerful Glasgow empire funded by drugs and car crime.
The family’s operation – also run by his brothers Ronnie, Norman and David – is rumoured to have a turn-over of £16million a year.
As teenagers, they terrorised the city’s Possilpark by shoplifting, loan-sharking and stealing scrap.
Now their fortune is based on stolen motors, guns and drug smuggling.
But violence erupted again this year, when Daniel enforcer Kevin ‘Gerbil’ Carroll, 29, was shot dead in an Asda car park in Robroyston, Glasgow.
