The company likely to run the Aqueduct racino operates a high-stakes VIP room in a Macau casino partly owned by the daughter of a Chinese businessman with mob ties, the Daily News has learned.
Genting, a Malaysia-based casino outfit, has the name of one of its subsidiaries, Crockfords, emblazoned on the door of the VIP room.
The posh betting room is tucked into a casino built by MGM Resorts and Pansy Ho, the daughter of Macau’s gambling king Stanley Ho. Genting owns 3% of MGM.
