Vincent Ciano, a Malden Massachusetts mob associate of Patriarca Street boss Mark Rossetti’s was arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court in connection to the organized crime ring that swept up 31 suspects last month.  writes Matt Byrne, boston .com .

 
Vincent Ciano plead not guilty to charges of conspiracy to distribute marijuana. He was released on personal recognizance, said Harry Pierre, spokesman for Attorney General Martha Coakley, whose office aided in the investigation.

Ciano is due back in court Feb. 10, Pierre said.

The ring, allegedly led by New England organized crime boss Mark Rossetti, engaged in heroin and marijuana trafficking, gambling, loan sharking, violent home invasion, and extortion, authorities allege.
