Bulgaria’s new Anti-Mafia criminal court, which became operational on January 03, has closed its first trial with a plea bargain sealed between four drug trafficking defendants and the prosecution. Reports

The case was opened on January 16, 2012 on charges of organizing and commanding a crime ring specialized in drug dealing and other offenses resulting in undue pecuniary gain, the court said in a Tuesday statement.

Four of the defendants, Stepan Dimitrievich Kara, Georgi Borisov Boshnqkov, Ivan Kostov Ivanov and Silvia Mladenova Kapchikova pleaded guilty and gave up the right to a trial. read more Here
