Robert V. Gentile , an alleged  member of the  Mafia from Connecticut who the feds like for a  suspect in the never-solved Gardner Museum art heist  is now facing  federal  charges that he  stashed guns and silencers in his home.  reports the Boston Globe

Gentile, who lives in Manchester has been a player in the Connecticut rackets for years and has   alleged ties to the mob in Philadelphia through ex Philly mob boss  Joey Merlino’s man in Boston,  capo  Robert Luisi Jr  .reports Edward H. Mahoney  for the Hartford Courant
