Based on the testimony of  turncoat mobster  James “Pudgy Fiorillo, Florida prosecutors are seeking to stop  bail for Anthony “Big Tony” Moscatiello, the accused top banana behind  the 2001 gangland-style  murder of South Florida business tycoon Gus Boulis

Fiorillo made his debut as a prosecution witness, telling how he watched Boulis get into a green BMW outside his Fort Lauderdale office on Feb. 6, 2001 and got on his Nextel communicator to let Anthony “Little Tony” Ferrari know

The triggerman in the tough tycoon’s murder was a hitman New York  mobster named John Gurino, who bragged to Liotta about his ties to organized crime figures in New York and his association with the Gotti family and mobsters in Howard Beach, where Moscatiello and Gurino lived. .He was shot dead two years later by a deli owner west of Boca Raton. Gurino didn’t live long enough to be charged with Boulis’ slayingKey dates in the Gus Boulis murder case
