Juarez, Mexico

Juarez, Mexico

More Americans have been murdered in Mexico than in any other part of the world in the past decade. Americans were gunned down in broad daylight in Juarez, Mexico and even in affluent Acapulco.

Violence continues to terrorize the country. In the past 10 years, 130 deaths have been reported in the city of  Tijuana,  just south from San Diego, California.

That number eclipses Ciudad Juárez, deemed the world’s murder capital, which saw 120 American deaths in the past decade followed by Nuevo Laredo.

Most murders are attributed  to Mexico’s  drug war between ruthless  organized crime groups  like Los  Zetas and the  Gulf cartel
