A federal judge on Friday gave the-green-light-go to JP Morgan Chase & Co’s $218 million dollar deal settling class-action litigation accusing the big bank of playing a pivotal role in the Ponzi scheme of former convicted client Bernard Madoff
U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon in Manhattan said the accord “easily meets the standards” for final approval, and provides “substantial and immediate” benefits to the swindler’s former customers.
