Italian police on Wednesday captured a fugitive at a farmhouse in Foggia , believed to be boss of a mafia organization called ”The Company”, reports crime blog
Police tracked down and captured mobster Pasquale Moretti at a farmhouse in the territory of San Marco in Lamis, after he was on the run for the past six months from serving a sentence for mafia crimes
Moretti, 37, was alone at the time of the raid and attempted an unlikely escape but was arrested without any further incidents. Police searched his present and past hideouts and found cash,a telescope, a radio transmitter and a uniform of the Guardia di Finanza
According to a conversation intercepted in prison ,Pasquale Moretti took over the reigns as boss of the clan from his father, the godfather of the historical “Company”,in prison for 25 years
Moretti, his father Antonio and capo Vincenzo Pellegrino, were sentenced on appeal to nine years in prison for mafia-type criminal association
