Italian police on Tuesday seized assets and arrested 17 alleged members of a mafia driven drug gang based near Naples,. accused of International drug trafficking
According to anti-mafia investigators, the arrested belong to a criminal organization who work with Dutch and Venezuelan drug traffickers who supply drugs to Camorra gangs operating in the rackets in Casola di Napoli, Lettere, and Torre Annunziata
During the investigation, police seized 3 kilos of cocaine, 150 pounds of marijuana, 250 kilos of hashish, and thousands of marijuana seeds, and plantations of cannabis for a black market value of over 20 million euros
Also seized were 7 cars, three motorcycles and 13 bank and postal deposits for 800 thousand euro, in addition to five companies.
