This week, attorney J. Bruce Maffeo, a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, looks back at the amazing accomplishments of the Organized Crime Strike Force in Brooklyn, the prosecutors who dominated the city’s war against the mob and official corruption in the 1980s, but were phased out of existence 25 years ago by Attorney General Richard Thornburgh.
