A man considered a member the Camorra mafia was shot dead in a suspected gangland ambush on the outskirts of Naples,on Wednesday
Vincenzo Allocca, 58, an alleged member of the powerful Licciardi clan of the Camorra , was murdered by a hitman in a gangland-style ambush in the Secondigliano district, a stronghold of the Neapolitan Camorra mafia
According to police , Allocca was shot in the head with a single bullet at close range by a gunman,who fled the scene on a motor scooter
The murder follows the gangland rubout of reputed Camorra boss Pietro Esposito, last Saturday in Piazza San Vincenzo, who was shot dead by suspected gunmen from the Lo Russo clan of the Camorra
