Italian police on Friday arrested three suspected members of a notorious organized crime organization based in Ragusa , in the autonomous region of Sicily
The three suspects are alleged members of ” Stidda”, a Mafia-type criminal organization operating out of Ragusa, whom are accused of viciously extorting entrepreneurs and various other victims, for thousands of euros
Among the arrested was newly minted ”Stidda” boss, Mario Campailla, 43, whose rapacious extortion enterprise was exposed in a prosecutor probe targeting drug trafficking in 2014, in which 22 members and associated of the organization were arrested in a police blitz dubbed ”Agnellino”, meaning” little lamb ”
The ”Stidda” organization are reputed rivals of Cosa Nosta
