A lawyer with ties to the ‘Ndrangheta mafia was gunned- down dead in the Calabrian town of Lamezia Terme late Tuesday evening in what investigators believe may have been a revenge killing, reports Ansa news
Francesco Pagliuso, 43, was found riddled with bullets in his vehicle in the town centre after relatives alerted the police when he failed to return home.
He had been alone in the car at the time. Investigators say Pagliuso had several clients linked to Calabria’s powerful ‘Ndrangheta mafia and that he had economic interests, particularly in the restaurant sector.
