Chicago mob’s man  in  Hollywood

The Lake Shore Drive condominium that was the Chicago home of legendary mob attorney Sidney Korshak will be listed on the open market today, after a few weeks as a confidential pocket listing.

The asking price is just over $1 million for the four-bedroom unit on the 16th floor at 2970 N. Lake Shore Drive. The listing agent is Jennifer Ames of Coldwell Banker.

Korshak was an attorney who was reputed to have worked for several Chicago organized crime figures and later became a major power player in Las Vegas and Hollywood. He was the original owner of the 16th-floor unit, according to his signature on documents that the current owners have from 1955, when construction began on the 18-story structure.
