Italian Police on Friday arrested a fugitive member of the notorious ‘Ndrangheta mafia at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport, reports abc.net

Crisafi had managed to avoid arrest in a crime- busting blitz in which 39 people were arrested in January last year for belonging to a drug trafficking organization powered by the Ndrangheta
An Italian court found the fugitive guilty and sentenced him in absentia to 20 years in prison, and he was subject to an Interpol Red Notice.
Police arrested Crisafi at Rome’s international airport after being tipped off that he had departed Australia, where he had been hiding out with help from relatives.
