BOSTON – A verdict has been reached in the racketeering trial of reputed Boston mob boss James “Whitey” Bulger
Bulger has been found guilty of racketeering and extortion, but the jury said the prosecution failed to prove their case in all of the murder charges.
Bulger was charged with committing or contributing to 19 murders during the 1970s and 1980s as a leader in the infamous Irish Winter Hill Gang while partnered with a pair of Patriarca mob enforcers , Stevie “The Rifleman” Flemmi, and John Martorano
