BOSTON — As 2012 comes to an end, longtime Boston fugitive James “Whitey” Bulger remains where he has been all year long: confined in the Plymouth County Correctional Center, awaiting federal trial on murder and racketeering charges
It’s been a frustrating year for the families of the alleged victims, who want to see Bulger tried. It’s also been a frustrating year for the Bulger’s defense team, which has won a few postponements but has also encountered some setbacks in court
