A Mexican drug cartel named after a medieval order of knights is winning favour among the community where it works, in the state of Michoacan.
The Knights of Templar, former La Familia Michoacana drug cartel members based in the Mexican state of Michoacán say they are fighting a war against injustice and poverty, and they have a reputation much stronger than local police.
Meanwhile, they traffic drugs and create harsh and violent punishments for those the organisation deems to be bad for the community
