Three men have been held after trying to extort £80,000 out of German billionaire Susanne Klatten
Billionaire BMW heiress Susanne Klatten has been targeted again by blackmailers in Germany just months after a former lover was jailed for extorting money from her.
Three men are in custody in Munich after demanding nearly £800,000 from the mother-of-three.
Prosecutors said the men claimed to have compromising video of her which they threatened to release on the internet unless they received the money.
In March this year Swiss-born gigolo Helg Sgarbi went to jail for six years for blackmailing her out of millions.
She became his lover after meeting him at a top spa hotel in Austria and later he secretly filmed the pair of them having sex in a hotel room in Munich.
Mrs Klatten decided to go to the police because she knew the blackmail would not end with a one-off payment.
According to Winkler, the videos the latest trio were trying to peddle were linked to her meetings with Sgarbi.
It was through the number, said Winkler, that the gang were traced and arrested.
He did not reveal whether the men actually had sordid videos of her or not.
This is the second time since Sgarbi’s imprisonment that Mrs Klatten has been the target of blackmailers.
Shortly after he was sentenced another man was arrested after trying to extort nearly £75,000 from her with an alleged compromising video tape. thanks Mail online related Story
