Marie was built like a Burlesque Queen with moves like a Godess so they dubbed her “The Body” She was a star-struck showgirl when she hit Hollywood. .She acted in a few B movies and sang a few songs with some big bands. She married six times, one of them was to millionaire Harry Karl who she accused of kidnapping her. Karl later married actress Debbie Reynolds.
She also had affairs with Mobsters. Marie hooked up with Bugsy Siegel while she was a hot-to-trot- hoofer working in the chorus line in the famous Florentine Gardens.
