 Michael “Mikey Cigars” Coppola, a capo in the Geneovese crime family of La Cosa Nostra  who was charged in a mob murder beef and beat it  but was  convicted on a Rico Act rap for extortion and fraud of the New York, New Jersey, waterfront Longshoreman Association (ILA)  was sentenced to serve 16 years in the slammer by Federal  Judge John Gleeson.

Capolla  had his lawyers argue before the court of appeals, Second Circuit and it was decided February 14 that the original  judgment will be affirmed.  Mikey Cigars will keep  doing  time in a federal pen in Atlanta
