The Anti-Mafia investigation squad of Catanzaro have arrested four contractors in the construction industry accused of being agents of the fierce Giampà gang of the ‘Ndrangheta, who have command over the criminal rackets in the region of Lamezia Terme
Police say they seized six companies and also assets of 25 million euros belonging to the entrepreneurs who operated their businesses with hidden mafia money and gave a cut to the coffers of the Giampà gang
Arrested are David Orlando, 31, Roberto Piacente (43), Francesco Cianflone (58) and Antonio Gallo (40).
According to police, several snitches fingered the four men which led to their being dragged away in handcuffs and charged with mafia association
