Alessandro Di Pietro, who appears on daytime consumer shows claims the Mafia is behind freight companies that dominate the distribution of fruit and vegetables in Italy .Investigators who arrested suspected mobsters in the fruit trade last year said that the Sicilian Mafia , Neapolitan Camorra, and Calabrian mafia control the business.
