Detectives investigating the 1982 murder of Melbourne underworld figure Brian Kane have appealed to an anonymous Crimestoppers caller to contact them again.

Kane was shot dead by two masked gunmen in the lounge bar of the Quarry Hotel in Lygon Street, Brunswick, in Melbourne’s inner north, on November 26, 1982. His killer was never found.
