THE Camorra – the ruthless arm of the Italian Mafia that has built a vast international criminal network from Naples – has identified Australia as an ideal place to expand.
The book Mafia Export, released in Italy this week, gives a detailed account of the global operations of the Camorra, which gained notoriety in Robert Saviano’s explosive book Gomorrah and the film of the same name, as well as the Calabrian Mafia known as ‘Ndrangheta and the Sicilian Mafia or Cosa Nostra.
