Italian police on Tuesday have carried out arrest warrants issued against 21 members of a mafia driven drug gang accused of trafficking and dealing cocaine
Police, in an operation dubbed “Kamarina Drugs 2”, arrested nine Italians and 12 Albanians, who are considered confederates in a criminal organization that supplied and sold drugs in the province of Raguza, located on the island of Sicily
Police say the investigation was launched after eight people tied to the gang were arrested in recent months, for possession for the purpose of selling cocaine in competition
During the investigation, police seized cash, the proceeds of drug dealing, along with material for drug packaging
