One of the top priorities for Mexico’s new president Enrique Pena Nieto is tackling drug gang violence. His predecessor tried going after the leaders of drug cartels like the Zetas .
But that had only limited success. Now Pena Nieto’s promising to employ a new strategy, by creating a new national police force made up of former military troops. Al Jazeera’s Rachel Levin reports from Mexico City.
