Italian Anti Mafia police on Tuesday arrested 24 alleged members and associates of the powerful Casalesi clan of the Camorra responsible for money laundering by mafia method.
The prosecutors investigation had led to the identification of a network recycling funds raised through illegal financial transactions with corporations in the state of San Marino, included were several coastal satellite companies
Anti-Mafia police squads performed a property seizure with a value of two million euros including a Ferrari from the Fabbrocino clan, active in Naples and operating with the consent of the Casalesi clan
Authorities also seized a valuable villa in Palma Campania owned by Camorra boss Domenico Cesarano already the subject of a sizable seizure of assets in March valued at five million euros
