PHILADELPHIA – There seems to be a “Skinny Joey” Merlino faction causing friction in the Philadelphia mafia family just two weeks after the feds busted reputed Philly mob boss Joseph” Uncle Joe” Ligambi and his South Philly crew on federal racketeering and gambling charges.
The guy waving his arms and looking upset is Mobster, Steven Mazzone, the former No. 2 man under one-time Philly mob boss Joseph “Skinny Joey” Merlino.
Mazzone is now reported to be the “acting boss” in the wake of those recent federal indictments.
